Skip to the Fun Parts is available to pre-order!

Dana Maier October 28, 2022

My upcoming book about the creative process is now available to pre-order, and it would mean the world to me if you did! If you’ve ever felt judged by other creativity guides (and really, haven’t we all?) this is the book for you.

Also be sure to sign up for my mailing list if you want more announcements, book previews, and other fun stuff.

📣 COVER REVEAL! 📣 I spent the last couple of years writing a book called Skip to the Fun Parts: Cartoons and Complaints About the Creative Process, a collection of cartoons and essays about creativity. (Originally pitched as a "creative guide for a sort of people who hate creative guides" but that was too wordy for a subtitle, and also maybe a little unkind to our target audience.) It's the book I wish I had when I was trying to figure out what kind of artist I wanted to be. It will be released May 2023 and pre-orders are available now! I’ll be posting more previews, art giveaways and other fun stuff, so you also might want to sign up for my mailing list while you’re at it. As always, an enormous thanks to my incredible agent @meg_thompson, and the esteemed @andrewsmcmeel.
